This Privacy statement applies to our Continuing Medical Education (CME) website, found at this location: http://www.sharpmedlearning.com. This is a website that we administer within the Sharp HealthCare CME Department, which is hosted on a computer provided by an outside firm called Net Learning. NetLearning provides physical support for the computer, but does not otherwise access or administer the public portion of this website.
We provide online learning materials at this website to support our mission of providing education Sharp-affiliated physicians and allied health professionals to foster the delivery of optimal patient care in a cost effective manner.
Our website does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or to post information to be accessed by others. You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing any of your personal data.

This is a separate website that we maintain, which is actually administered by NetLearning. NetLearning collects minimal data to allow them to limit access to authorized Sharp users, and to allow them to report to us necessary information for CME accreditation purposes. This data is kept in a separate database that is only used for the Sharp Online CME program.
Disclosure and Visitor Choice
At www.sharpmedlearning.com, we do not routinely collect personal information about any individual user. We do not use cookies or any other technical information gathering tool; we do, however, use counters to determine how often each of our pages are viewed. We also collect information that is input by the user for purposes of registering authorized individuals as participants in our program, and to allow registered users to log on to the education modules offered through the portion of the site administered by NetLearning.
We do not use the information that NetLearning collects in their database for any purpose other than to verify the participation of authorized members in the various educational offerings. We do not disclose any of your personal data to our subsidiaries or to other organizations, except as necessary to ensure the provision and tracking of CME or equivalent credit for participation in our online continuing education courses.
Limitations
Sharp MedLearning (SML) membership is exclusively for Sharp employees within the following three professions: physician, pharmacy, and laboratory personnel. Individuals who meet this criteria will be granted immediate access, upon request, to online continuing education courses. You will receive your Participant ID via e-mail.
